“Describing the Indescribable: Pain and Suffering in Literature” by David William Page, Surgeon, Professor, Author.

Dr. Page’s passions include teaching, surgery, writing, patient advocacy, writing about the interface between literature and medicine, and encouraging patients to find their own voices. He has published a thriller, two reference books for writers, and many scientific papers. His book Body Trauma won the Independent Publisher’s Book Awards Silver Medal in 2006.
